Morpheus8® is an advanced skin remodelling treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten skin, and improve overall skin quality.   • Morpheus8 can be used on any area of lax skin that is showing signs of ageing such as lines and wrinkles, anywhere on the body.

    The most commonly treated areas in the face include the lower face and neck, double chin and eyes.

    Knees, thighs, abdomen and upper arm skin are also popular treatment areas.

    Areas of the face and body that are showing signs of discolouration, stretch marks or acne scarring are also suitable for treatment.

  • Morpheus8 is used with caution in people with broken skin barriers including psoriasis, eczema, rashes or those prone to cold sores.

    You can not have Morpheus8 if you have recently been exposed to the sun. You must be at least 2 weeks, ideally 4 weeks post sun exposure.

    If you have had filler in the last 6 months, botox in the last 2 weeks or are pregnant you should avoid this treatment for now.

    You should not have this treatment if you have a pacemaker, internal defibrillator or any electronic implant such as glucose monitor, a permanent implant in the treated area, such as metal plates and screws, silicone implants, or an injected chemical substance.

  • Normally we recommend 3 sessions initially to help generate long lasting effective results.

    These treatment sessions are spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart.

    Sessions can be purchased individually or as a package of 3.

    • You will have numbing cream applied for approxmately 45 minutes before the procedure.

    • The procedure can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the areas that are being treated. As with any aesthetic procedure, everyone’s perception of discomfort is different but we can vary both the depth and intensity for your individual tolerance.

    • After the procedure you will be red and the skin can be puffy in the treated areas. The initial redness subsides very quickly (mostly within a few hours) and for 3-5 days following the procedure you may feel your skin is dry, has a rough texture or maybe swollen.

    • For some people these side effects can last up to two weeks but this is rare.

    • It is not recomended to apply makeup or undertake any exercise the day of the treatment.

    • The day of the treatment keep the area clean and avoid touching your face where possible, continuing for the day post procedure. Ideally post procedure nothing should be applied to the face, bar mineral SPF.

    • No retinol use or other active/irritant products that could cause skin irritation.

    • No intense excersise or exposure to heat on your face for 1-3 days. (until you feel your skin has come back to normal, this length of time can vary for everyone, anywhere from 3 to 7 days is standard)

  • The short answer is that you will start to see results after your first treatment with Morpheus 8. You will notice that your skin is tighter and firmer.

    Morpheus 8 treatments are usually done in a series of 3-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, some patients may start seeing noticeable results after just one treatment. The full effects of Morpheus 8 treatments can take up to 6 months to appear. During your consultation we will create a custom program for you.

    One of the best things about Morpheus 8 is that results are cumulative, which means that they get better with each treatment.
